BRAND

Where does the name “gllu” come from?

And no, our little name doesn’t come out of nowhere! It's Norman patois.
gllu means rye straw used on thatched cottages.

Where are the products manufactured?

All our creations are imagined and manufactured in our workshop, in Malaunay near Rouen.
A workshop located in a former Norman dyeworks!

Products resulting from collaborations are manufactured in our respective workshops with partner brands. All ensure sustainable and local manufacturing ;)

Products from the “Guests” category are not manufactured by us. We source our supplies from creative friends who ensure French, local and quality production.

Where does the wood used come from?

We are lucky to have a sawmill less than 20km from our workshop. And more precisely in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, at Normandie Bois.

This is where we have sourced our products from the beginning.
We buy our oak and chestnut blocks there, which come exclusively from nearby forests.
Their stock is immense, a real delight for wood lovers!

How to fix the shelves?

Our shelves are designed to be very easy to install.

The Super-poses shelves are attached using small brass nails, which we provide.
A hammer and a level will be enough!

Méga-poses and Firmin shelves require drilling. We provide dowels and screws suitable for all types of walls (placo, concrete, bricks, etc.).
Installation instructions are also provided.
Don't panic, it's very simple ;)

How to install the Hirondelle?

Our Hirondelle soliflore is designed as a blocking system. The sliding part blocks the flowers against the fixed part. We recommend attaching the fixed part first, then putting on the flowers and the sliding part.

Don't panic if the upper part slips when the flowers are not stuck there! This is completely normal, it will hold with the flowers.

How much weight do Méga-poses and Firmin shelves support?

The Mega-poses shelves can hold picture frames, small objects, and magazines. We recommend not placing excessively heavy items (e.g., a large vase filled with water) on the modules. This could put strain on the fixings.

The Firmin shelves are wider so can support more weight, you can put many books, bedside lamps, vases, plants, etc. Pellentesque pretium eget netus tortor in sed et ante. Can I slide magazines into Super-Posts?

They can support small magazines, but classic formats risk being too large, leaning and weighing on the brass bar.

For magazine shelves, we recommend theMéga-poses model 😉

The brass bar of my Super-poses has oxidized, what should I do?

It can happen. Handling the brass bar with bare hands may cause it to oxidize. Some people oxidize more than others. It's not a big deal at all, since it's solid brass you can clean it easily. The best is to use a small cloth soaked in white vinegar. It should be shiny and streak-free again.

I don't have the hardware needed to install my product, what should I do?

I'm moving, can I remove and reinstall my shelf?

Yes, no problem!
For Super-poses, simply pull gently on the wooden part and the shelf will detach.

If you are moving, you can order new nails directly from the website: Super-Poses Nails

For the Mega-poses and the Firmin, you can uninstall them without any problem and recover the screws.

Gift card

I would like to offer a gift card, how do I do it?

We offer a gift card on our e-shop.
You can choose your amount from the following: €30, €50, €80 and €100.

The card is digital and will be sent directly to your email address.

A unique code will be created and mentioned in the email so that the recipient can use it across our entire site, within 1 year.

Delivery

How long will it take for me to be delivered?

Orders are prepared and shipped within 48 hours. Please allow 3 to 5 days for delivery, starting from the order confirmation date.

Do you offer free delivery over a certain amount?

Yes! From €150 of purchase (excluding tables), we offer delivery via Mondial Relay, in Metropolitan France.

Can I merge orders to save on shipping?

Our orders are launched for preparation from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m.
If we see several orders placed with the same name and the same address, we may ask to merge your order and reimburse you for the delivery costs partially or completely, if we are on time.

The merger is not automatic.

Can we come and buy the products directly from you?

If you're in the area, feel free to drop by! But don't forget to send us a quick message ;)

We are resold through numerous partner stores.

I live abroad, can I have it delivered?

No problem ! We deliver all over the world ;)

How can I track my order?

You will receive an automated email from your chosen carrier when your package is shipped. This email will contain your tracking number, allowing you to follow its delivery.

If you do not receive any follow-up emails, check your spam folder and then write to us at equipe@gllu.fr or contact us via our chat.

What should I do if my item arrived damaged?

Do not panic ! ;)
Send us an email with photos of the damaged item AND its packaging to equipe@gllu.fr. After studying the file, we can issue a refund or resend, depending on your wishes.

Do not hesitate to make a complaint to the carrier or even open your package in front of the delivery person, if the packaging is damaged.

I want to return an item, how do I do it?

The products must be returned to Gllu at the following address:

They must be returned in their original packaging, properly protected. They must be in perfect resalable condition. Any product returned incomplete, damaged, washed, damaged, deteriorated, soiled, even partially will not be refunded or exchanged.

Return costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

How long do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to return your package from the date of delivery of the product.

What are the return costs, if any?

Return costs vary depending on the weight of the package: between approximately €5 and €10.
We strongly recommend that you use Colissimo and send us the tracking number of the package to equipe@gllu.fr.

How do I track the status of my return?

As soon as we receive your package at the workshop, we will process your refund.

Can I exchange an item?

If you would like a different item instead of your purchase, you must return it to us and place a new order.

I did not receive the correct items, what should I do?

Sometimes there are small errors when preparing an order, we apologize for this.
If this happens to you, don't panic!
Send us an email to team@gllu.fr to notify us of the error. We will send you a return slip and send the correct item back (free of charge) after studying the file.
