RODERICK FRY

Roderick has imagined Pi, a clever system that simplifies the creation of designer, solid and durable tables. His secret? A solid wood top that fits naturally into self-locking steel trestles, without screws or nuts.

Behind this concept, a committed vision: reducing the carbon footprint, favoring sustainable materials, promoting local know-how and giving new life to available resources. An approach that celebrates both the beauty of solid wood and the ingenuity of design.

FINISHING AND MAINTENANCE

Oiled finish

Oiled oak furniture is protected with a tinted oil, which enhances the wood's natural colour and feel while making it more resistant to stains. However, this finish does not provide complete protection against splashes.
It is therefore advisable to quickly wipe off any splashes of liquid to preserve the beauty of the wood.

We use premium Rubio Oil + 2C, a VOC-free vegetable oil with a hardener to ensure long-lasting protection.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

Clean surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge and mild soap or dishwashing liquid.
Rub in the direction of the wood. Avoid soaps containing detergents or chemicals. Dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks.

Protect the furniture with coasters, placemats or mouse pads to avoid damaging the wood, especially with heavy use or excessive heat.

Remember to move objects regularly (pots, vases, etc.) and quickly wipe away moisture to avoid streaks.

OCCASIONAL MAINTENANCE

For more specific maintenance , we recommend Rubio® interior soap: an ecological product designed especially for surfaces treated with Rubio® Monocoat oils.

In case of wear on frequently used surfaces , you can revive their shine with Refresh Eco Rubio® care oil, which restores silkiness while reinforcing protection.

If a stain appears following contact with liquid or wet metal, use Rubio® Tannin Remover.

For traces of grease , Rubio® Degreasing Spray Cleaner will be effective.

Advantages/Disadvantages

+: natural, ecological appearance, develops a patina over time, can be easily retouched
- : moderate protection

Varnished finish

Varnished oak furniture has a matte, protective finish that provides enhanced protection against stains and moisture. The varnish forms a strong protective layer that prevents liquids from penetrating the wood, making the furniture easier to maintain on a daily basis.
However, it is advisable to quickly clean any spills or dirt to preserve the shiny appearance and avoid any alteration of the finish.

DAILY MAINTENANCE

To dust, use a dry cloth. In case of cleaning or splashing liquid, wipe with a slightly damp cloth with natural soap.

Advantages/Disadvantages

+: long-lasting protection, low maintenance
- : less natural appearance

Comfort thought out down to the smallest details

We didn't settle for standard market dimensions. Our lengths have been carefully thought out to ensure optimal comfort for each guest, with 50 cm of space per person for a fluid layout and 60 cm for absolute comfort.

And we didn't just calculate it, we tested it (and approved it!) during our lunch breaks.

The weight of quality, the lightness of design

Solid, elegant and timeless, the Pi Table has everything to become the centerpiece of your interior. Its top, thicker than average, gives it a real presence while keeping clean and light lines. Its solid steel base reinforces its robust character, without weighing down its design.

Designed to stand the test of time, it is not just beautiful: it is made to last, to be passed down and to become a real family table. Here, no compromise: quality materials, careful manufacturing and a design that transcends fashions.

A table with just the right amount of finesse to suit all styles.
