Mega poses small model

During manufacturing, some parts may have defects. Therefore, we prefer to set aside these products and remove them from sale, as they fall slightly short of our quality standards.

Since the imperfections do not affect the functionality of the product, we have decided to give them a second chance and offer them to you at affordable prices.

For this edition, 8 products are available: the Super-poses Classic black, the Mega-poses, the Green Woodpecker, the Flaming Woodpecker and the Imperial Woodpecker, the Osmie and the Suspended Bars.

We sorted the Imperfect items into 3 categories: Knots, Damaged items, and Color Defects.

Knots in wood are the starting point of a growing branch. They do not detract from the quality of the piece. They can be small or larger. In the latter case, we sometimes fill them with wood filler.

During manufacturing, some parts can be damaged by impacts: chips from the machine, excessive sanding, poorly wiped oil, a small fall in the workshop (oops).

The cutting of the wood, in turn, creates patterns on the surface. The closer the cut is made to the heartwood, the straighter the grain , and the closer the cut is to the ends, the more the grain is flamed or zebra-like.

Discoloration (green, yellow, or pinkish tones) is due to the climate or environment in which the wood grows. It has been observed that this is particularly noticeable near the root; depending on whether the wood grows in marshes or very damp soils, the wood's color can vary.

The Mega-Poses cannot accommodate modules. Indeed, on some Mega-Poses produced, we have observed that the wood shrinks, leaving insufficient space to add a module. They are in perfect condition and can still hold your books, frames, and magazines, but not small items thanks to the modules.

The defects of “Imparfaits” are specified on each product sheet. You can choose the category of defects among Knots, Damaged and Color Defects. Prices vary depending on the category.

They are identical to the permanent collection.

Delivery time is approximately 3 to 7 days depending on the destination. The times indicated are estimates, corresponding to average processing and delivery times.

We have put all of our “Imparfaits” on sale online.
These are pieces that we have been accumulating for several years. We do our best, when cutting the wood, to avoid knots and unsightly portions in order to reduce waste of materials.

We have no visibility on the next sale of “Imparfaits”.
